It can help you strengthen your faith, bring a sense of God’s presence, and create a dynamic form of worship.
As you walk our nature trail, we invite you to use this guide for a prayer walk:
You can pray for yourself, your loved ones, your community, your neighbors, your city, your nation, and the world.
You can pray for specific needs, such as healing, provision, protection, and guidance.
You can pray silently or out loud.

As you pray, listen to the Holy Spirit’s promptings. He may lead you to pray for specific people or situations.
Thank God for being present with you as you begin your prayer walk. Praise Him for being your Creator. Ask Him to help you feel His presence during your time in His creation.

Philippians 4:6-7.
“Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace.”
This passage reminds us that God hears us when we pray.
Through prayer walking, we can bring anything to God.
Pray to God. Tell him what makes you anxious. Ask Him to give you peace. Thank Him for all He has done in your life.
Trail Marker 3
Matthew 5:14-16
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
This passage reminds us to be a light to the world and to let our good deeds shine before others.
Through prayer walking, we can lift our communities in prayer and bring the light of Christ to those who need it most.
Pray for those in the West Nashville Community. Ask God to help you bring the light of Christ to those who need it most. Pray that the hearts in our community would be softened towards God’s love for them. Pray all would recognize the need for salvation through Jesus and choose to follow Him. Ask Him to bring salvation of entire families.

Prayer walking can help us discern the needs of our communities and pray for God’s will to be done.
